Discover The Outdoors is the brainchild of former NFL quarterback and lifelong outdoorsman Tony Adams. Adams founded the enterprise to help connect people to the outdoors and the wonders of wildlife. In 2007 WANSecurity began providing all of DTO’s information technology services. In 2008, WANSecurity began a complete redesign and backend recoding of DTO’s web site.

WANSecurity implemented its Nexus Director Suite of Next Generation Monitoring Tools for NetSeer, Inc. in 2008. NetSeer is a technology enterprise focused on next-generation search engine and advertising targeting. As a pioneer of “intention-based” ad targeting, NetSeer uses sophisticated mathematics and algorithms to make advances that were previously unattainable in internet advertising.

In 2004 WANSecurity helped implement components of its Nexus Director web-based monitoring suite for Adaptec. Nexus Director aggregates network monitoring tasks, provides rich reporting, and allows enterprises to efficiently monitor their networks. Nexus Director helped Adaptec to build on its long track record of success in simplifing the latest storage technologies and making them affordable and accessible to a wide range of businesses.

Bar Architects

WANSecurity performed its first security audit of the Bar Architects IT infrastructure in 1999. Since that time WANSecurity has provided numerous consulting services for Bar Architects, both for network engineering and security. Founded in 1966, BAR Architects is headquartered in San Francisco; the firm has received over 170 design awards with its work showcased in a variety of magazines, books and journals.

MetroFi is a leading provider of free wireless Internet access, municipal services, and internet advertising. It contracts with several cities across the US to design, build and operate free municipal Wi-Fi networks for residents, visitors and city workers through online advertising supported by local and national advertisers.

In 2005 WANSecurity designed and implemented the complete build-out of ODL Securities Japanese IT infrastructure and datacenter. ODL Securities Limited (ODLS) was originally founded in 1994 as Options Direct (Europe) Ltd. in response to a movement away from the “open outcry” system of trading on the LIFFE derivative products market. The Company believed that the future for trading financial instruments would be screen based and the use of technology would be a major factor in the development of the financial markets.
